Bosschar wrote and directed his first professional play in Brazil 2002. HIs first production, "The Year of the Rabbit" won a prize for "Best contemporary production" of the year 2003. Since then, He has directed a number of productions, most of them written by himself. His work has been created under different companies names such as "Desculpa Cacilda" and "Cafe dell'arte". Recently Bosschar decided to bring all his previous works under his own name, thus creating the Marcello Bosschar Theater group.
