NJORD: Lyset, mørket og farverne & NOX BOREALIS

NJORD Biennale presents the concert night Light, Darkness & Colours - with the eminent Avanti! Chamber Orchestra, who is visiting Denmark for the very first time, and the world-famous cellist Jakob Kullberg as soloist.

On the programme of this unique concert is a series of works by prominent Nordic composers, including Niilo Tarnanen, Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg and Kaija Saariaho, who is the festival composer at NJORD 2016.

Before and after the concert, the spectacular installation NOX BOREALIS containing music by Kaija Saariaho and visuals by Jean-Baptiste Barrière will be on view.
