We meet the blind, supernatural pole dancer, Absolute; we meet the two illegal immigrants, Fadoul and Elisio, who long to go home; we meet Rosa, her husband Franz and her mother Frau Zucker, who uninvited moves into their home. Rosa has a burning desire to have a child, Franz is only truly alive when as an undertaker handling the dead, and Frau Zucker would prefer to smoke herself to death at a petrol station. And then there’s Frau Haberstatt, who seeks forgiveness for the crimes of her imaginary son; three suicidal jumpers; and lastly, the alcoholic philosopher, Ella, who’s trying to revolutionize the world in order to impress her husband Helmut, who’s primarily interested in making jewelry
